Royal Mara Safari Lodge

4/5

The Royal Mara is located in the Mara North Conservancy which is the richest and most varied wildlife section of the Masai Mara wildlife ecosystem. Join us and play witness to the spectacle of the annual Great Migration, One of the New Seven Wonders of the world, a vision beyond belief. Watch over two million wildebeest and zebra brave the waters of the Mara River – and her gauntlet of crocodiles. but with one unflinching resolve: to reach the lush plains of the Masai Mara and the Mara North Conservancy. Here, eagerly awaiting, are the big cat predators

This is a land of high drama, of epic struggle and perpetual rebirth. To see the Mara is to stare life head on and be humbled by its savage beauty. We hope the one day you will join us and share in the splendor of this majestic paradise.

Our group of 6 people (including a 1yr old) recently had the pleasure of staying at the Royal Mara. The accommodations were sumptuous and the staff were kind, gracious and helpful. Food was excellent and particularly delicious when served outdoors overlooking the river. The tents are large, comfortable and beautifully appointed. There is a huge deck for when you simply want to watch the hippos in the river below or the prolific bird life in the trees. The night drive was a highlight of the trip - make sure to do it.

Excellent place to stay, eat & enjoy nature. Our original guide & his vehicle was less than what we expected on our first day. We talked to lodge manager Benjamin about it. Next day he arranged for us an excellent guide/driver Simon and provided nice land cruzer. That day turned out to be the most productive in terms of watching all big five animals in their natural way of life. The guide knew where to go for the most amazing experience one can have. Sincere thanks to Benjamin, Simon & all other attendants for their excellent service.
