Leopard on a tree outside the Royal Mara Safari Lodge
Masai Mara, Kenya

Photo of a male leopard in a tree, about 200 meters outside the main camp grounds perimeter of the Royal Mara. Solitary leopards sometimes pass through the vicinity or hang around for several weeks. Leopard Gorge is located 20 minutes South-East of the Royal Mara Safari Lodge. The photo was taken by a Royal Mara client in July 2008 and kindly donated to our photo gallery.
